Creche, Sunday school and Bible class will be held during the morning service. Tea and coffee will be served after the morning service. Please remember to bring your Bible to church as only a few copies will be available at the door.

WfM @ Bon Accord: WfM stands for Women for Mission and consists of women in the Free Church all across Scotland who work in this country to raise awareness of Free Church mission and to raise money for particular projects. Anne MacDonald in our congregation is on the committee. They also run the away day every second year.

Every year there is a new project and, in Bon Accord, we have always had an event to raise money for the project. This year, as we don't have a venue, we have decided to take a collection over the first three weeks in March (5, 12 and 19 March) for the project "Encouraging Education".

Money can be put in an envelope and left at the door or handed to those on Door Duty. Please mark the envelope WfM project. We will also have some fabric soft balls for sale made by Margaret Smith. Small balls are £2, medium £3 and large £4.

Youth Conference – Several of our young folk are away this weekend at the annual Free Church Youth Conference at Lendrick Muir. The main speaker is the Rev. Calum Iain Macleod of Back Free Church in Lewis.

Explore: The next copy is ready for collection. Please see Rob Grant to get your copy. The cost is £4.50 per copy.

Deacons Court – The DC will meet tomorrow, 20th March, in the manse at 7:35pm.

Office bearers prayer breakfast – This Saturday (25th) at 8:00am at the manse.

Evening Service on the 2nd April – Our minister will be taking the service at Gilcomston Church on the evening of the 2nd of April.

Congregational Meeting – A congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday the 29th March at 7:30pm in the YMCA. The purpose of this meeting is for the congregation to approve a Sunstentation Fund Schedule that will accompany our petition to the Presbytery of Edinburgh & Perth requesting that our permission to employ a Youth Worker be extended for a further three year period. The Sustentation Fund Schedule simply provides the statistical data (membership, givings etc.) that demonstrates both the need for and the financial means available to employ a Youth Worker.  I would anticípate that this is a matter that will be dealt with very swiftly and so the meeting will also serve as our fortnightly Prayer Meeting. If you have any questions please direct them to the minister; in addition opportunity will be given for questions at the meeting.

Holiday Club: It is that time of year again when we begin to think of Holiday Club plans for our week long kids club for primary school aged children! This year the week will take place at the BEGINNING of the summer school holidays rather than in previous years where it has been the last week of the summer school holidays. So mark your calendars: Holiday club will be running in the mornings from 3rd-7th July, with the joint service on the 9th July. This year we are going on an Island Adventure and we would love to see lots of new faces join us. So bring friends and neighbors for a free, fun week of songs, games, crafts, story-time and more! Are you too old to come as a child, then join us as part of the TEAM! We are needing folk with a heart for sharing the Gospel with the children of our community. We have many needs for helpers to work with crafts, story-time, drama, music, games, children's group leaders, ladies to provide lunches for the team after the day's activities, and more. This is a joint churches ministry in Aberdeen, and we team up with our friends from Gilc, Hebron, Crown Terrace Baptist and other churches in the West Central Group, so it is an excellent opportunity to make new friends in the city and support our work for the Lord together. Please speak to Cassia Martin if you and/or your children would like to join this adventure in any way!

Legacy Summer 2017: Teens Epic Games in the Dark, week long, evening events! This summer join us for Epic Games in the Dark, food, team chants, face paint, star speakers, possibly a smoke machine, and an opportunity to run around with NERF GUNS in brain challenging strategic games that confound even the cleverest of lawyers! This is open to teens entering S1 through to S6. Are you too old to fit into that slight bracket? Do not cry; JOIN OUR TEAM! We are always looking for volunteers for one night or the whole week of nights. NOTE: We have changed the date from the last week of the school holidays to the first week of the summer school holidays 3rd - 7th July, from 7:00-10:00PM! If you are interested in finding out more please speak to Cassia Martin, Iain Meredith, or John MacPherson. Wear Black, Bring Friends...

Reception of new members – It is anticipated that a reception of new members will take place on Sunday, the 14th of May as part of the communion service. If you would like to become a member of Bon Accord by profession of faith or by transfer from another congregation please speak to the minister or send him an e-mail (minister@bafreechurch.org.uk">minister@bafreechurch.org.uk).
